This page is here to help you form some initial thoughts and ideas prior to my visit,
so that the time we spend together can be as fruitful and effective as possible.
By now, I will have spoken to you or another member of the family, in order to direct you to this website;
it's quite likely that we will already have agreed a time for me to make a personal visit, to plan the service/ceremony with you.

Basic Information
Your Funeral Director will have given me some very basic information;
this includes the name of the deceased, the next of kin and/or the chief mourner,
and the date, time and venue of the funeral.
The Next Step
The next step will be the time I spend with you and your family during my visit.
There are three main aspects to that visit:
- to talk about your loved one, and how you want to remember them;
- to get a fuller picture of the family they have left behind;
- and to talk about the funeral itself.
