Another Angel (author unknown) 1 minute 20 seconds
So heaven has received another angel,
the night sky another star.
Your life has become a loving memory;
I know you’ll never be far.
If love could build a staircase,
and memories could build a lane,
we would march right up to heaven
and bring him home again.
I know you are watching over me,
as my life goes on.
I will treasure the memories I have of you;
I can’t believe you’re gone.
You were a loving, caring Father;
you were there for me a lot.
You will always hold a place in my heart,
a loving treasured spot.
You were really one in a million,
a cut above the rest.
All that knew you would agree
you simply were the best.
So, Dad, I will say goodbye,
I love and miss you with all my heart.
But as long as I have my loving memories,
we will never be too far apart.
I hear no voice - a Prayer for Dad 55 seconds
I hear no voice, I feel no touch,
I see no glory bright;
but yet I know that you are near,
in the stars that shine at night.
You’re watching ever by my side,
you hear my whispered prayer;
the Father for His little child
both night and day doth care.
So God in heaven hear my prayer,
and keep me in thy loving care.
Now my Dad’s gone, please be my guide
in all I say and do;
please bless all those who love me
and please bless my Dad too.
He is not lost, our dearest friend,
nor has he travelled far;
just stepped inside the loveliest room
and left the door ajar.
So heaven has received another angel,
the night sky another star.
